What is a digital micro-degree program?

Next to the full degree programs offered at the German University of Digital Science, the individual teaching modules of the various study programs are offered individually or in thematically bundled blocks as interactive online micro-degree programs.

These programs – running for 3 months – are teaching offers for continuous education and lifelong learning and provide learners with valuable knowledge and skills.

Learners who wish to upskill or reskill themselves, or to continue their education on a very specific topic relating to digitalization can enroll to our micro-degree programs and obtain a micro degree credited with 5 credits (ECTS) independent of the study programs.

One of the main benefits of obtaining a micro degree is that when applying for one of the academic degree programs at a later stage, these previously earned credits can be recognized for the full degree program.

How to enroll and complete a micro-degree program offered by the German UDS?

We offer a wide range of micro-degree programs, which are designed and conducted by the professors and lecturers of the German UDS and its partners. Every interested learner can enroll into a micro-degree program without any prerequisites. Each micro-degree program is offered over a time span of 3 months and can be taken for 900 €.
