Opening of the CloudHouse headquarters of German UDS
On June 26th, 2024, we hosted the grand opening of the CloudHouse headquarters. This marked a significant milestone in the launch phase of German UDS, aiming to revolutionize learning globally with innovative ideas.
The opening event was successful, featuring immersive experience islands such as the Education Metaverse and the German UDS Academy’s learning platform. Attendees engaged and appreciated our unique furniture and lighting concepts, state-of-the-art technologies like robotics and augmented reality, and enjoyed networking opportunities with digital enthusiasts and peers.
The celebration was further enlivened by an open barbecue serving delicious food and drinks, and a live broadcast of the European Football Championship 2024.

Digitality Now – What’s Next? A Glimpse into the Future
On March 14th, 2024, the vibrant city of Berlin played host to an amazing event that gathered some of the brightest minds in the digital world. “Digitality Now – What’s Next?” was our inaugural event, held in collaboration with PSD Bank Berlin-Brandenburg eG. This momentous occasion was a platform to showcase our university and our esteemed partners to Berlin’s entrepreneurial community.
Under the compelling motto “Digitality Now – What’s Next?”, the event kicked off with an engaging panel discussion. Our founders, Prof. Dr. Mike Friedrichsen and Prof. Dr. Christoph Meinel, were joined by a distinguished panel of guests. Ute Weiland, Managing Director of VBKI, Alexander Rabe, Managing Director of Eco-Verband der Internetwirtschaft, Martin Hörhammer, CEO of Medialine, and a spontaneous surprise guest, Christoph Ahlhaus, Chairman of the Federal Executive Board and President of the European SME Association European Entrepreneurs (CEA-PME), contributed to a lively discussion on the future of digitality and education.
The panel’s insights were as enlightening as they were thought-provoking, sparking conversations that extended well into the networking sessions. Attendees had the opportunity to mingle with experts, share ideas, and forge new connections, all while enjoying the hospitality of our hosts. One of the most exciting parts of the event was our digital experience islands, where guests could immerse themselves in cutting-edge digital innovations. The highlight of these experiences was the unveiling of the first version of our digital campus in the virtual world, The German UDS Education Metaverse. Guests eagerly tried out the virtual campus using VR glasses, experiencing firsthand the future of digital education. The atmosphere was electric as participants explored the possibilities of this new digital frontier. The VR experience left many in awe, envisioning the transformative potential of such technologies in education and beyond.
