Date Published
A special day at the German University of Digital Science (German UDS) in Potsdam-Babelsberg!
We had the honor of welcoming Dr. Benjamin Grimm, Minister of Justice and Digitalization of Brandenburg, to our university.
During his visit, Dr. Grimm engaged in inspiring discussions with our Co-Founders and Presidents, Prof. Dr. Mike Friedrichsen and Prof. Dr. Christoph Meinel, about the future of digital education and the growing role of digital universities in shaping tomorrow’s learning landscape.
Highlights of the visit included:
• A podcast conversation on the future of digital education (stay tuned for its release)
• A deep dive into our Learning Management System
• A tour of our Campus of Virtual Education (COVE) – the immersive, fully digital learning environment of German UDS
Dr. Grimm emphasized the significance of German UDS as a pioneering model for higher education — one that combines academic excellence, cutting-edge digital infrastructure, and a truly international perspective.
This visit reaffirms our mission: to make digital education accessible worldwide — from Brandenburg to the globe.
