Our Council

The Council manages and organizes the academic self-administration of the German UDS. In the area of research and teaching, it is the highest decision-making body within the university.

The Council issues the university's basic regulations and other statutes and makes decisions on all fundamental issues in teaching and research. It elects the president, gives its opinion on the university's budget, decides on the university's development plan, appoints appointment committees and decides on appointment proposals, establishes study and examination boards and appoints their members and ensures quality management in research and teaching.
