About

Dr. Tim Stuchtey holds a Diploma in economics from the University of Münster and a doctorate from the Technical University of Berlin. He has worked at Humboldt University, the American-German Institute at Johns Hopkins University, and since 2010, as Executive Director of the Brandenburg Institute for Society and Security (BIGS). In 2024, he became an adjunct professor at the Indian National Institute of Advanced Studies. Dr. Stuchtey researches cybersecurity economics and security policy, and is a frequent media contributor and speaker. In 2025 Tim Stuchtey became a professor for the economics of cybersecurity at German UDS.
