About

He is a senior Information Technology executive and professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey and, more recently (since 2022), at the Hasso Plattner Institute / Digital Health Cluster. With a career spanning over three decades, he has been dedicated to the development and execution of innovative, entrepreneurial, and educational projects, as well as consulting on business process optimization and digital transformation across the public and private sectors in Mexico and Latin America. Since 2001, he has served as a guest professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey, teaching at both professional and postgraduate levels and mentoring hundreds of students and executives. He has led and contributed to major regional and international initiatives, including the Virtual University System at TEC de Monterrey (since 1986), Chile’s Enlaces project for basic education (since 1992), and Brazil’s CENAPAD high-performance computing project (since 1994). More recently, he played a key role in the design of the TEC21 Educational Model (2019) and the Integrator Program for senior Industrial Engineering students at TEC de Monterrey (2022).
