The German University of Digital Science (German UDS) and iSQI GmbH have entered into a partnership to offer a new micro-credential in Software Testing that combines academic learning with an internationally recognized industry certification. The program is based on the ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) and provides participants with a structured introduction to the principles, techniques, and practices of modern software testing.
Through this collaboration, learners can complete an e-learning program aligned with the ISTQB syllabus and take the official ISTQB® CTFL certification exam provided by iSQI, a global exam provider for software quality certifications.
Upon successful completion of the program and certification exam, participants will earn a micro-credential worth 3 ECTS credits and an internationally recognized certification, which can contribute to further academic study within digital science and related disciplines.
“Software quality is a critical factor in modern digital systems. By integrating an internationally recognized certification such as ISTQB into an academic micro-credential, we provide learners with both practical skills and academic recognition.” said Prof. Dr. Mike Friedrichsen, Co-President of the German UDS.
“We are pleased to collaborate with German UDS to bring globally recognized software testing certification into an academic learning pathway. This partnership helps professionals and students demonstrate their competence in software quality while gaining academic credit.” said Erika Goericke, CEO of iSQI.
The program is designed for students who want to gain knowledge in the field of software quality and earn a globally recognized certification while earning academic credits.
With this partnership, German UDS and iSQI aim to bridge academic education and industry certification, supporting professionals in building practical and recognized digital skills.
