It’s official: German University of Digital Science (German UDS) has joined the European Pact for Skills.
The "digital transition" is moving faster than ever, and no single organization can bridge the skills gap alone. By joining this ecosystem of over 2,500 members including industry giants like Bosch and SAP, German UDS is stepping up to help future-proof the European workforce.
The "Skills Bridge" represents the vital link between current workforce capabilities and the rapidly evolving demands of the digital economy. It is a strategic effort to close the "skills gap" by transitioning workers from declining sectors or outdated roles into future-proof industries through targeted upskilling and reskilling.
As a member of the Pact for Skills, German UDS aligns with Large-Scale Skills Partnerships (LSPs). These industry-led groups are committed to a massive goal: training 25 million people by 2030 to ensure European competitiveness.
