FEDE Welcomes German University of Digital Science, Opening Doors to 500 European Institutions

Membership expands international mobility opportunities of German UDS students, industry-recognised qualifications, and collaboration across one of Europe's largest higher education networks.
POTSDAM, Germany - 31st August 2026 - The German University of Digital Science (German UDS) has been admitted to the Fédération Européenne des Écoles (FEDE), a consortium of approximately 500 higher education institutions across Europe. As a full member, German UDS students can now register for FEDE’s international qualification exams and apply for mobility placements at partner schools abroad.
EDE coordinates annual examinations for roughly 15,000 candidates in more than 40 countries. The federation designs its degree frameworks alongside industry associations and professional bodies. FEDE membership covers every program in the German UDS Study catalogue. German UDS graduates will hold a single credential that aligns with industry standards. It is recognized across the network instead of applying for country-specific approvals.
The federation holds consultative status at UNESCO and the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie, with participatory status at the Council of Europe. FEDE also maintains institutional membership in the International Association of Universities and an affiliation with EURASHE, the European Association of Institutions in Higher Education.
