Instructional Designer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks
The instructional designer will be responsible for creating, delivering, and maintaining educational materials for our online study programs. The candidate must have a foundational understanding of learning theories and their implementation in online courses. She/he must be able to support our professors in creating a collaborative and engaging online learning experience.
The objectives and responsibilities of this role will include:
Lead the design, production and authoring of teaching materials
- Develop standards, guidance materials and contribute to toolkits to support our professors
- Create immersive educational experiences for the audience
- Assess student progress and align the content with their needs
- Use core instructional design principles and theories to maximize learning
- Collaborate with professors or subject matter experts for lesson planning
- Revisit and assess learning objectives
- Research and implement new technologies into instruction
Your Profile
Required skills and qualifications
- In-depth understanding of instructional design models and learning theories
- Proficiency with learning management systems, particularly Open edX
- Basic knowledge of HTML and Javascript, basic Python skills are a plus
- Strong project management skills
